TM-LDM is a real-time lane discipline monitoring system for tracking and classification of vehicles with the computation of traffic flow parameters from 3D scanning. The proposed system robustly detects and tracks vehicles both during day and night, and accurately classifies them into various types by leveraging tracking information.
TM-LDM detects vehicle speed, accident zones, congestion etc., and based on the information the system ensures lane discipline monitoring with real-time reporting. The laser scanner continuously scans the desired lanes and sends the data continuously to the controller through wired/wireless networks. The application is also available in combination with an RFID Scanner (for tagged vehicles), an HD camera for loading images with reports, and an OCR camera for license plate capturing. This intelligent and innovative solution accelerates lane discipline monitoring on roads or highways. The monitoring system by Measure Di is applicable for monitoring the lane discipline automatically by using their 2D/3D profile scanning.
